Darksiders II: Part to Nimble to the bone.

Here we are again hearing that Darksiders II has been delayed untill Aug 14 2012. I gotta say it, get your shit together and put out the game because if you keep delaying it people for forget it.

Now with that said THQ has released part 2 to Deaths video to help us remember his magnitude of awesome. This guy way more agile than War and his horse is damn baller. Let's just pray they can keep their deadline so I can go and save my brother War.

Pathfinder Online Kickstarter. CALLED IT.

Anyone who reads our charismatic articles knows how much we love to say, “we were right” or “we fucking told you so.” Here we are again, to do the same damn thing with Pathfinder Online’s Kickstarter. If you missed us telling you this would happen then read it again here in all it’s rightful glory.

R&R is pretty damn excited to see how high they set bar, when making this tech demo for Pathfinder online. Most of all, what kind of incentives do you give for donating to something that is just a demo? Guess we will find out over the next few weeks.

Now a word from LazarusReturnz (Necessary Evil for those Iron GM fans out there),

“When WOTC changed the rules for how their d20 license would work the little bit of soul I had left died. Then something magical happened! Paizo stepped up to the plate and gave us Pathfinder open beta. Easily one of the most successful open design projects in all of tabletop history. This company blazed a trail showing how much they care and love the community that supports them. This went a long way with me and soon Pathfinder was my game of choice.

As time went on Paizo became a staple not only in my RPG shelf but in other areas as well, but first a little history lesson. Back in the day there were magazines called Dungeon & Dragon (yes there are other magazines than GamePro). These met a horrible demise with the WOTC changes and in turn I lost something I looked forward to every month, until Pathfinder Adventure Path was released upon the world. This monthly installment not only contained new content to feed your campaign the life that it lost with the old adventures of Dungeon, but had some of the best written adventures to grace my gaming table (besides mine of course).

I for one cannot be happier to have Paizo out there bringing the story and greatness that only the purple Golem can bring into the digital land of MMO’s. Paizo, Goblinworks, it’s time to suit up and make all these adventures something the world can play. I will always be in your corner and R&R will provide the ammo to keep the haters away.”

Reset trailer entirely made of visuals from the in-game engine

I stumbled upon this not too long ago and was amazed to read this was in-game footage. What's more that what you see is it...there's no game play developed as of yet and little else to go on. The trailer is beautiful and should you watch it more than once you'll start to notice all the small details put into it. Who made this you ask? Well Theory Interactive did. Feel free to ask who the hell they are because your guess is as good as ours. What's more, thus far the project is entirely self funded between Theory Interactive's two founders, Oksaharju and Mikko Kallinen. The Finland based team revealed in a recent interview that what you see in the trailer is actually a human in a mech exosuit named Zero-Two. The info certainly makes the trailer that more interesting and damnit we like interesting. R&R says make a damn kickstarter video so we can see this game come to life. Being able to create those visuals with such limited resources is nothing short of amazing-it would be like us here at R&R being wrong. Until then we'll just have to hope they can follow through on their promise that the trailer reflects real time time game play. You can find Theory Interactive on their blog website as well as facebook. You can find us on twitter @askrandr and on our RSS feed.

Dishonored trailer looks damn good

Now we had talked about Dishonored last year as an upcoming game being overlooked. With only a few screen shots to be had there was a little to go on visually. The Bethesda and Arkane studios collaboration released a pretty long cinematic trailer for the game and I have to say I like most of what I see. While the story line follows a familiar formula, the setting and characters are damn intriguing. Influences from several eras can be seen from the guards uniforms to the Victorian flare the buildings have. The appearance of the characters and buildings give you an older almost colonial feel but the technology seen shits on that idea. The constant use of first person view during the cinematics adds a certain mystery to the protagonist, despite seeing him in beginning of the trailer. At the end of the day R&R loves being right and our readers get to share in the joy. This game has a lot of potential and we will be sure to keep you updated on it. Enjoy the trailer, follow us at @askrandr and be sure to retweet us so we can work on that taking over the world thing we've had on our to due list.
